How Much Does a DWI Assessment Cost?

At Hotch Healing, a DWI assessment costs $160. This is a one-time fee that covers the assessment itself and the required documentation for the court and DMV.

If you're recommended for the ADETS program, that costs an additional $160 plus $25 for the required workbook.

What Happens After My Assessment?

After your assessment, you'll receive a recommendation for either:

• ADETS (Alcohol Drug Education Traffic School) – A 16-hour educational program completed over four days

• Outpatient treatment – A more intensive counseling program if needed

You'll need to enroll in your recommended program within six months of your assessment to stay on track for license restoration.

Do I Have to Be Sober for My Assessment?

Yes. You need to come to your assessment sober and free from impairment. This isn't a trick question—it's a professional requirement. If you arrive under the influence, we'll need to reschedule, which just delays your process.

Can I Do My Assessment and ADETS Program at Different Places?
